Born and educated in the Philadelphia area, Maureen graduated from St. Joseph's and Villanova University and taught school in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Soon after, the "corporate life" led Maureen and her family around the east to Wilmington, DE; Virginia Beach, VA; Pittsburgh, PA and Wilton, CT. After settling in to Connecticut - and by now familiar to the process of buying and selling houses, Maureen was drawn to real estate.
Maureen Magee Robison listed and sold residential real estate in Fairfield County, Connecticut for fourteen years. Throughout that time, Maureen held several leadership positions on the local and state Board of Realtors. In 1993, Maureen was named Realtor of the Year.
Once settled in Wilmington, Maureen missed the energy and activity of real estate and asked to join Vance's team in 2003. Since that time, Maureen has learned about coastal living and enjoys being part of a successful team.

I am a native of east Tennessee and moved to Wilmington as a college student to attend UNCW where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology. After graduating I pursued my passion for the sea as a custom boat builder in Wilmington. The yacht industry lead me to the Caribbean where I worked as a charter captain and sailing instructor and eventually opened yacht brokerages in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Prior to returning to Wilmington, I lived in Florida where I applied my sales experience to the real estate industry working as a residential agent for a leading independent firm for several years.
My business philosophy is based on the belief that face to face interaction with my clients is essential as it provides me with a clear understanding of their needs and preferences. With this information I am able to maximize my efforts towards achieving my client's goals. Communication, integrity and market knowledge when combined with a high level of personal service creates mutual trust and respect and this leads to a successful transaction with happy faces at the closing table!
I believe in giving back to the collective good and have volunteered my time and energy to Habitat for Humanity, Lake Watch of Florida and the Nature Conservancy. My free time activities include playing music, creating original paintings and enjoying the great outdoors where nature never fails to inspire me.

Linda comes to the Vance Young Team after 4 years in general brokerage. While growing up in Eastern North Carolina, Linda and her family spent their summer vacations at her great uncle's apartment hotel on the south end of Wrightsville Beach, so her roots go pretty deep here in spite of stints living in the Midwest and Europe. Linda is a St. Mary's, UNC-CH and Wake Forest Law School graduate.
Linda and her husband Gus (a Duke graduate!) and West Highland Terrier, Fanny Franklin, enjoy living in Landfall on the lake of the Nicklaus Ocean #1. From there they love to walk over to The "Nick" for a practice, a round of golf or a great meal at the Nicklaus Clubhouse. When not working as a broker, she enjoys serving on the Board of Directors of the Country Club of Landfall and the Landfall Foundation Grants Committee as well as a round of golf when she can work it in.
Gus spent 30 years with the Dana Corporation where he was President of Dana Europe located in Lausanne, Switzerland for 4 years and later President of Dana International for 7 years. While there he was on the boards of the Dana joint ventures in India, Taiwan, Mexico and Venezuela. In addition, Gus was responsible for Global Sourcing, Strategic Planning and Executive Development. Most recently Gus was a manufacturer’s representative for the Fersa Group out of Spain and the Tata Automotive Components Group out of India.
Gus was born in New Haven, CT when his father was coaching football at Yale University. During his grade school years his father coached at the University of Nebraska, Houston University and Southern Methodist University. Gus attended high school at Housatonic in Falls Village, CT when his father was coaching football and was Dean at the Kent School. Gus holds an undergraduate degree in management science from Duke University where he attended on an NROTC scholarship. He also holds an MBA from the University of Rhode Island and he attended the Harvard Advanced Management Program, AMP 104. Gus has recently published a book on leadership, “Afraid To Win”.

Gus’s wife Linda also works with Intracoastal Realty and they are on the Vance Young team together. They have owned a place in Wilmington since 1993, first on Wrightsville Beach then moved in 2005 to Landfall and recently moved back to Wrightsville Beach. Gus is a member of the Country Club of Landfall and the Cameron Executive Network of UNCW.
Gus is focused on helping people from the Midwest and East Coast learn about the charms of Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach so they will want to come live here as much as he and Linda did. Gus has lived all over the US including California, Texas, Nebraska, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Washington DC. Having moved over 28 times in his life he brings a level of experience that can help with the transition to living in Wilmington.
An avid golfer, Gus has played courses all over the world, but he finds no better golf than right here in the Greater Wilmington area.
In 2013 after 25 years in Raleigh NC, Donna along with her husband Jeff, decided it was time to begin the next phase of their journey as “empty nesters” and head to the coast to make Landfall their home. With golf, tennis, and the beach at their fingers tips, it was an easy decision. After many years splitting time between working and raising her three girls, Donna looked forward to the time she would spend painting and exploring her artistic gifts.
They realized along their journey that a detour would be taken. Shortly after moving to Wilmington, Donna, and her husband Jeff, would discover it was time to move his parents (Donna fondly refers to as her “grandchildren”) from Northern VA to NC after 50+ years to be closer to family. Donna quickly took to the process of selling their home while finding them the perfect house they could claim as their home. Donna was able to support and guide them through the emotional journey so natural and effortlessly every step of the way.
With the encouragement of so many friends and family, she decided to continue her journey in real estate and joined The Vance Young Team. Donna looks forward to using her years of experience helping others. She hopes to improve the process of buying, selling, or even relocating a "home" whether it be across the street or across the globe.
Although you may see Donna in this new-but-natural element, you will certainly still see her on the tennis courts and on the links trying to improve her game, or tending to her hobbies of gardening, cooking or boating. You may even find her picking up her paint brush should the weather keep her indoors. She will always take the time for family and friends and to enjoy the peace that comes from living at the beach.
“Work and live to serve others, leave the world a little better than you found it and garner for yourself as much peace of mind as you can. This is happiness.” ~ David Sarnoff, Founder of NBC
